To mark five years of collaboration<\/strong> with global superstar Bad Bunny<\/a><\/strong>, the brand orchestrated a multi-sensory cultural takeover<\/strong>, bringing sport, identity, and storytelling together with one of the most influential creative voices in the world.<\/p>\n

Timed to Bad Bunny\u2019s record-breaking \u201cNo Me Quiero Ir de Aqu\u00ed\u201d residency<\/strong> at the Coliseo de Puerto Rico<\/a><\/strong>, the multi-day celebration unfolded across streets, museums, and iconic spaces. What began with the adidas Originals x Bad Bunny Gazelle City Series<\/a><\/strong>, a sneaker collection that serves as a love letter to the island that shaped him, grew into a living tribute, spanning from New York\u2019s golden-ticket locker activation at Grand Central Station<\/strong> on July 3rd to the highly anticipated Puerto Rico Archive, open through August 17th<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Formula 1 Roars into Puerto Rico<\/h3>\n

The weekend kicked off with a moment never-before-seen on the island: a historic Formula 1 demo run on the streets of San Juan<\/a><\/strong>. For the first time, an F1 car not only visited Puerto Rico but raced through its streets. Over 12,000 spectators<\/strong> lined the historic Puente Dos Hermanos<\/a><\/em> to witness Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS F1 Team<\/strong> driver Esteban Guti\u00e9rrez<\/a><\/strong> deliver donuts, burnouts, and celebratory laps, with Bad Bunny<\/strong> himself joining the team as an honorary member.<\/p>\n

adidas and Mercedes-Benz used the moment to unveil a pop-up exhibit<\/strong> outside the Coliseo, showcasing authentic race gear, gloves, boots, and memorabilia, alongside a teaser for their upcoming AdiRacer GT<\/strong> collaboration between adidas Originals, Bad Bunny, and Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS F1 Team. The Archive: Puerto Rico Para El Mundo<\/h3>\n

The heart of the celebration was the debut of The Archive: Puerto Rico Para El Mundo<\/em> at the Museo de Arte de Puerto Rico<\/a><\/strong>. This landmark exhibition showcased five years of adidas Originals x Bad Bunny collaborations<\/strong>, featuring 150 products, over 115 of which had never been seen by the public<\/strong>.
