Teva<\/a>, the global outdoor brand known for comfort and adventure, has joined forces with visionary designer and artist Sean Wotherspoon<\/a> for a one-of-a-kind limited-edition collaboration. Officially launching worldwide August 14, the collection breathes new life into the brand\u2019s hidden gems\u2014headlined by the nostalgic yet futuristic Wraptor<\/a>, revived alongside the Hurricane XLT2 sandal<\/a> with fresh palettes, patterns, and a strong story.<\/p>\n

Rediscovering the Archive: The Wraptor\u2019s Comeback<\/strong><\/h3>\n

For this collection<\/a>, Sean Wotherspoon<\/a> dove deep into the Teva<\/a> archive and uncovered the Wraptor<\/a>\u2014a bold, cult-favorite silhouette from the early 2000s that was ahead of its time. Built with Teva\u2019s original 360\u00b0 Wraptor strapping system, the revived Wraptor Shoe<\/a> and Wraptor Sandal<\/a> blend trail-ready outsoles and modern materials to offer a unique mix of stability, durability, and striking style.<\/p>\n

Premium straps echo patterns and motifs lifted from Teva<\/a>\u2019s design vault, while quick-release buckles and upgraded nylon shanks provide trail-worthy support. Wotherspoon<\/a>\u2019s signature color palette brings playful energy to every pair, creating a hybrid shoe and sandal ready for city streets, remote hikes, and everything in between.<\/p>\n

Classic Meets Creative: The Remixed Hurricane XLT2<\/strong><\/h3>\n

The collection<\/a> also features the Hurricane XLT2<\/a>\u2014a Teva<\/a> staple now seen through Wotherspoon<\/a>\u2019s creative lens. Expect bold, retro-inspired palettes and tactile mismatched straps, each borrowing final details from early-2000s originals. Constructed with 100% REPREVE recycled polyester and hardware nodding to vintage outdoor gear, the XLT2 is both sustainable and unmistakably expressive.<\/p>\n

Together, we\u2019ve created a collection that reflects our shared commitment to innovation, functionality, and inspiring people to get outside, explore, and play across our Playground Earth.\u201d<\/p>\n

Wotherspoon<\/strong> added<\/a>, \u201cWorking with Teva<\/a> on this collection gave me the chance to explore design through movement. We pushed into the archive, experimented with materials and colors, and built something that feels nostalgic but ready for wherever you take it.\u201d<\/p>\n

Launch Details and Pop-Up Preview<\/strong><\/h3>\n

The full collection<\/a> will be available globally beginning August 14 on teva.com and through select retailers. Ahead of the official release, a special pop-up in Japan (August 8-10) offered fans an early look, with Wotherspoon<\/a> present to celebrate the launch and share the creative process.<\/p>\n
