The first major European retrospective for Virgil Abloh<\/a> is on view from September 30 through October 9 at the Grand Palais<\/a>, featuring over 1,000 items drawn from an archive of 20,000+ pieces spanning fashion, footwear, architecture, music, and more. Curated by Chloe Sultan and Mahfuz Sultan, the exhibition traces Virgil<\/a>\u2019s hallmark design \u201ccodes\u201d\u2014principles that unified his process across every medium and genre, especially in his influential partnership with Nike<\/a>. Rare objects, sketches, prototypes, unfinished work, and personal treasures are displayed alongside public programs, dialogues, DJ sets, and collaborative workshops.<\/p>\n

The exhibition is a partnership between Nike<\/a>, Virgil<\/a>\u2019s longtime creative collaborator, the Virgil Abloh Archive<\/a>, and the nonprofit Virgil Abloh Foundation<\/a>.
