This expansion by New Balance reflects increased demand for footwear bearing the \u2018Made in USA\u2019 label.<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"mb-2 mt-4 font-display font-semimedium text-base first:mt-0\">Political Support and Heritage<\/h3>\n<p class=\"my-2 [&#038;+p]:mt-4 [&#038;_strong:has(+br)]:inline-block [&#038;_strong:has(+br)]:pb-2\"><strong>Maine Senator Susan Collins<\/strong>&nbsp;lauded the company\u2019s investment, <a href=\"https:\/\/sgbonline.com\/new-balance-opens-expanded-central-maine-factory\/\">stating<\/a>: \u201cThis is a great day for Skowhegan, for the entire state of Maine and for the American manufacturing industry. An additional 600 workers are employed across New Balance\u2019s Central Maine and Norway factories and retail locations in&nbsp;Kittery,&nbsp;Oxford, and Skowhegan, ME\u2014further anchoring the
