Nike<\/span><\/a> and <\/span>Jacquemus<\/span><\/a> are back with <\/span>the Moon Shoe<\/span><\/a>. They are introducing three new Spring 2026 colourways that keep pushing Bill Bowerman\u2019s waffle racer into fashion forward territory.<\/span><\/p>\n

Ballet Runner, Chapter Two<\/b><\/h3>\n

The Moon Shoe is Nike and Simon Porte Jacquemus\u2019s low slung, ballet influenced rework of Bowerman\u2019s hand built 1972 racer. It is complete with a ruched nylon upper, leather Swoosh and a low to the ground torpedo profile. Underfoot, it retains a waffle inspired Nike Grind outsole made from recycled materials. This feature ties back to the original moon footprint story while nodding to current sustainability targets.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cThree years ago, when I visited the Nike archives, I first came across the historic Moon Shoe,\u201d <\/span>says<\/span><\/a> Simon Porte Jacquemus<\/b>. \u201cI saw a unique, minimal running shoe that was both timeless and modern in its simplicity and execution. I knew it was an opportunity to create a new story and reshape it in the Jacquemus way.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

He also <\/span>added<\/span><\/a> that \u201cI immediately saw the opportunity to write a new story and reinterpret it in our own way. Today, as we enter the second chapter of this collaboration, the Moon Shoe will be released in brown and white, alongside a pale pink edition. The choice of pale pink is rooted in the Jacquemus DNA as a sensual and na\u00efve color that brings softness and intimacy to the silhouette, reshaping the icon through our own lens.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Three New Spring 2026 Colourways<\/b><\/h3>\n

For Spring \u201926, the silhouette returns in Soft Pearl (Sail), Fauna Brown (Chocolate Brown) and Aluminum Pink (Soft Pink). This trio moves from everyday neutral to bolder Jacquemus coded pastel. Jacquemus says the pink pair is rooted in his house DNA as a \u201csensual and na\u00efve colour\u201d that adds softness and intimacy to the otherwise sharp, aerodynamic shape.<\/span><\/p>\n

Solange Fronting The Campaign<\/b><\/h3>\n

The new chapter is fronted by <\/span>Solange Knowles<\/span><\/a>, who stars in the campaign styling the Moon Shoe with pared back tailoring and fluid dresses to highlight its runway to pavement brief. The campaign leans hard into movement and negative space. In addition, it positions the shoe as a kind of everyday performance object rather than a conventional retro runner.<\/span><\/p>\n

Launch and Access<\/b><\/h3>\n

All three colourways will be released first via <\/span>jacquemus.com<\/span><\/a> and Jacquemus boutiques on March 9, 2026, with Fauna Brown and Soft Pearl set for a wider Nike SNKRS and select retail rollout on March 16; Aluminum Pink remains a Jacquemus exclusive for now. Pairs are limited (capped per customer on Jacquemus) and positioned as the next phase in a collaboration line that has already moved from the J Force 1 and Air Humara into a more directly archival Nike story.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Nike and Jacquemus are back with the Moon Shoe.
