The collab comes through <\/span>Oliver\u2019s Anonymous Club studio<\/span><\/a>, the experimental arm of the <\/span>Hood By Air<\/span><\/a> founder that sits between fashion, music, and art. Converse positions the <\/span>Chuck 70<\/span><\/a> here as a canvas for outsiders and club kids, reworked into something closer to a sculptural boot than a straightforward sneaker.<\/span><\/p>\n

Dunce Cap, Reimagined<\/b><\/h3>\n

The design nods to Oliver\u2019s dunce cap motif through its exaggerated, tower like collar and strapped construction, turning height and constraint into a statement rather than a punishment. Three bold Velcro straps lock across the forefoot and ankle, creating a taped up, almost industrial feel that recalls DIY club gear and performance outfits.<\/span><\/p>\n

Materials and Construction<\/b><\/h3>\n

Leather replaces traditional canvas on the upper, with rubberized finishes and bonded seams giving the shoe a latex like, armor style surface. A layered shoe within a shoe build, full inner sock, and towering high top cut push the Chuck 70 silhouette into boot territory while keeping it wearable on foot.<\/span><\/p>\n
