Founded in Los Angeles, swang has built its reputation as a golf collective that operates outside traditional country club culture. It draws players through music, self expression, and an open door philosophy. Its founding ethos is straightforward: show up as yourself, Jordans on, music loud, and play the game on your own terms. That approach has organically built a community that felt underrepresented in mainstream golf. Moreover, it is precisely that foundation Jordan Brand is now formally backing.<\/span><\/p>\n

FREE RANGE at the Center<\/b><\/h3>\n

The partnership’s first tangible output centers on Swang’s FREE RANGE Thursdays at Rancho Park Golf Course in Los Angeles. There, the collective provides free clubs, balls, coaching, and community access to anyone who shows up. Jordan Brand enters as a long term collaborator within that existing structure rather than reshaping it. However, it adds resources, presence, and scale to events that have already proven their community value. Future programming includes expanded tournaments. Jordans on, baggy shorts, a jersey, music blasting. swang grew out of that energy.
