The brand is committing to integrate enzymatically recycled nylon 6,6 into its core collections from 2028. The deal marks LSKD’s first use of regenerated fibers sourced from end of life textiles. This is a structural shift for a brand that grew from $1.6 million in revenue in 2019. Furthermore, LSKD became a global direct to consumer operation serving over 200,000 customers.<\/span><\/p>\n

A Decade Long Bet on Circular Materials<\/b><\/h3>\n

The partnership locks in a long term supply of recycled feedstock. This comes at a time when sustainable raw material costs are rising across the apparel industry. Moreover, LSKD will transition key product lines from standard nylon 6 to Samsara Eco’s recycled nylon 6,6. A pilot program is planned for 2027 before the full rollout begins. The Australian activewear market is projected to reach $13.2 billion by 2034. Nearly 41 percent of consumers are actively seeking eco conscious fabric alternatives.<\/span><\/p>\n

How the Technology Works<\/b><\/h3>\n

Samsara Eco’s process uses AI designed enzymes to break down end of life textiles, including mixed fibre and blended materials, into their original molecular building blocks. Those monomers are then repolymerised into virgin identical nylon 6,6. There is an approximate 75 percent reduction in carbon footprint compared to conventional production methods. The output maintains the tensile strength and handfeel of virgin nylon. This matters for LSKD’s compression leggings and high intensity training gear.<\/span><\/p>\n

Jason Daniel, Founder of LSKD<\/b>,<\/span> noted<\/span><\/a>, “Our mission is to be 1 percent better every day, this collaboration moves the brand beyond seasonal ‘capsule’ drops toward a fully integrated, circular manufacturing model.” <\/span>Paul Riley, Founder of Samsara Eco<\/b>,<\/span> noted<\/span><\/a> that the enzymatic process achieves the approximately 75 percent carbon reduction.<\/span><\/p>\n
