Alo is adding a trail silhouette to its growing footwear roster. The brand is launching the Alo Trail on April 9 as its fourth sneaker. Notably, it is the brand’s first shoe built explicitly for multi terrain movement.
Alo’s Footwear Push Continues
Since introducing the Alo Runner in September 2024, the Los Angeles based wellness label has moved steadily to establish a footwear presence. This matches its strong apparel standing. The Alo Trail is the next step in that build. It carries the same studio to street ethos as its predecessors. However, it extends that concept beyond paved surfaces into genuinely outdoor territory.
Built for Multi Terrain Movement
The Alo Trail features an oversized traction sole, a speed drawcord lacing system with a locking closure, a stabilizing heel clip, and a high rebound midsole compound encased in water resistant material.
Abby Gordon, Chief Officer of Design and Merchandising at Alo, said, “fashion-forward look that would be at home on city streets and styled for all day wear… I love the oversized traction pattern on the sole. It gives the Trail a very rugged look, while delivering the grip and performance needed for trail running.”
Three Colorways and a Global Campaign
The shoe launches in Black, White, and Gravel, with campaign imagery starring IBF International light heavyweight champion Ben Whittaker and supermodel Daiane Sodré. Whittaker is captured transitioning from snowy trails to London’s metropolitan streets. Meanwhile, Sodré moves from Parisian city blocks to the Camargue salt flats in the south of France. This demonstrates the shoe’s versatility across two very different urban and natural environments.
Release Details
The Alo Trail goes live on April 9, 2026, in Alo stores and on aloyoga.com. Pricing has not been officially confirmed in the sourced materials, though Alo’s existing sneaker line sits in the $160 to $185 range, with the Runner retailing at $185.
