Deckers Brands is bringing resale and digital-retail experience into its boardroom. The HOKA and UGG parent announced on October 22, 2026 that The RealReal president and CEO Rati Sahi Levesque will join its board effective December 1.
Lauri Shanahan will retire from the board in connection with the appointment. Levesque will serve on the Audit & Risk Management Committee, while existing director Patrick J. Grismer will join the Corporate Responsibility, Sustainability & Governance Committee.
Levesque joined The RealReal as its first employee in 2011. Deckers highlighted her experience in brand positioning, digital innovation, merchandising and consumer engagement as relevant to its strategy.
The appointment places an executive who has helped build a digitally focused retail business alongside the leadership overseeing HOKA and UGG. It is a governance development distinct from Deckers’ separately announced quarterly financial results, rather than an operating-role appointment at either brand.
