Golden Goose is extending its lifestyle universe beyond sneakers, opening Younique Milano, a two level luxury café in the Brera district that connects directly to its store and treats coffee, music, and community as part of the brand experience.
Italian Bar Roots, Milan Energy
Younique Milano is inspired by the classic Italian bar, but remixed with Golden Goose’s fashion sensibility and Milan’s creative energy. Located at Via Cusani 4, in the heart of Brera, it’s the brand’s first Younique Café in Italy and in Europe, following an initial debut in Bangkok.
Cafe Design
Spread across two levels, the space combines warm wood with steel details to feel contemporary while nodding to vintage cafés. It runs an all day format, from breakfast and specialty coffee to lunch, snacks, gelato, and aperitivo, embedding itself into Milan’s daily rituals rather than functioning as a quick brand pop up.
Culture and Community
Golden Goose positions Younique as a cultural hub: an upstairs DJ booth, weekly sets, books and indie magazines, vinyl and events turn the café into a meeting point for locals and Dreamers after work and on weekends. The focus on aperitivo, reimagined drinks, shared plates, music till late, brings a distinctly Milanese social rhythm into the brand’s orbit.
Co Creation Model
In line with Golden Goose’s co creation ethos, guests can personalise their own Golden cups with printed messages, extending customization from sneakers to coffee culture. Next door, the connected Golden Goose store houses a Dream Makers area for one to one product customization, so café traffic and retail storytelling reinforce each other.
Why This Matters
Younique Milano shows how fashion brands are building hospitality spaces as lifestyle anchors, not just showrooms, places where customers spend time, socialise, and create content even when they’re not buying shoes. For Golden Goose, the café turns its lived in, community first language into a physical, daily experience in one of Europe’s most competitive fashion cities.
