Moser & Cie. and Reebok unveiled the Streamliner Pump at Watches & Wonders 2026. It translates the iconic Pump sneaker mechanism, first introduced by Reebok in 1989, into a mechanical watchmaking complication. This complication was born from the Moser Exploration LAB.
The Pump mechanism
The traditional crown is replaced by an orange anodized aluminum pusher on the left side of the case. This is a direct lift of the Reebok Pump button’s gesture and color. Each press transmits energy directly to the barrel spring via the hand wound HMC 103 manufacture caliber. As a result, it delivers more than one hour of power reserve per push. The movement beats at 21,600vph. It carries 31 jewels and an original Straumann hairspring. It offers a maximum 74 hour power reserve, requiring 74 presses to reach full wind. Once fully wound, the gesture remains purely for the pleasure of interaction.
Case and construction
The 40mm case is crafted from forged quartz fiber, a material purer than glass fiber and highly resistant to UV exposure. This is wrapped around a titanium inner “sarcophagus” that provides structural protection while keeping the watch light. Each piece carries a unique moiré pattern due to the nature of the forged material. The sapphire caseback reveals the partially skeletonized HMC 103 movement and its pump-winding rack mechanism. Water resistance is rated to 100m.
The Reebok tie in
The collaboration extends beyond the watch itself. Each of the 250 pieces per version is paired with an exclusive Reebok Pump sneaker created jointly by Moser and Reebok. This sneaker is reserved solely for watch owners, making the pairing a true dual collectible. The project positions itself as a cultural bridge between two very different luxury languages: fine Swiss mechanical watchmaking and American sneaker heritage.
Exploration LAB provenance
The Streamliner Pump is the latest creation from H. Moser & Cie.’s Moser Exploration LAB, the brand’s internal platform for unconventional concepts that sit outside its main collection development cycle. Previous Exploration LAB projects have consistently leaned into provocation and humor as design tools, consistent with the brand’s stated belief that true luxury should never take itself too seriously.
