Herschel Supply launched Herschel Supply Golf on April 10, a permanent six model collection of on course and travel gear that marks the Vancouver based bag brand’s first dedicated entry into the golf category. The range arrives as golf continues to attract lifestyle and streetwear adjacent brands looking to tap a consumer base that increasingly values design and versatility alongside function.
Six Models, One Category
The permanent collection spans six models built around golf essentials: a lightweight Sunday bag, a cart bag, a stand bag, a shoe bag, a cooler bag, and a travel bag. Each model applies Herschel’s design language, clean silhouettes, functional organization, and accessible price positioning, to formats that have traditionally been dominated by specialist golf equipment brands. Specific pricing was not confirmed across all models ahead of publication.
“Golf felt like a natural extension for us as we continue to expand into new categories, and there was a clear white space to approach it with a travel-first mindset,” said Founder Jamie Cormack. “We saw an opportunity to build functional, quality products for today’s golfer, both on and off course, while bringing our balance of classic style into a new space.”
Travel as the Entry Point
Herschel’s existing strength in travel goods gives the golf line a natural anchor. The Heritage Golf Travel Wheelie Bag, one of the lead products in the range, aligns closely with the brand’s core backpack and luggage identity. The approach points to a brand building into golf through what it already does well, travel gear, rather than leading with on course performance claims it has not yet established.
A Broader Category Shift
Golf has drawn increasing interest from lifestyle and streetwear brands over the past three years, with labels from Malbon to Noah using the sport as a platform for community and product drops. Herschel’s entry takes a more functional, accessible route, prioritising bag design and travel utility over cultural positioning. The brand currently distributes to approximately 10,000 retailers across 94 countries, giving the golf line immediate global reach from day one.finance.
