Made-to-Measure, Underfoot: Hockerty Hand-Embroidered Ceremonial Shoes
Hockerty brings hand-embroidered initials and wedding dates to made-to-order ceremonial footwear, with slippers, Oxfords, Derbies, and loafers crafted in Spain.

Hockerty extends its monogram craft to ceremonial footwear, stitching initials or wedding dates in real thread, by hand, on velvet and patent leather slippers built one pair at a time.
There is a moment, just before the doors open, when every detail a man chose stops being decoration and starts being his. The cut of the lapel. The knot of the tie. And, quietly, on the vamp of a hand-finished velvet slipper, two initials in gold thread that no one else in the room will see, and only one person needs to.
That is the proposition behind Hockerty's new Ceremonial Shoes line. The made-to-measure house, long known for fully customizable suits, shirts, and footwear, is now bringing its signature hand-embroidered monogram, already a staple of its tailoring, to a category most grooms still buy off the rack: dress shoes.
"A wedding shoe shouldn't be a rental decision, it's the one piece a groom keeps long after the day. We wanted the detail that makes it his a date, an initial, the year his life changed to be sewn in by hand, not pressed in by a machine," says Alberto Gil, co-founder.
Every pair in the Ceremonial collection is made to order in Spain and can be personalized with hand-embroidered initials or a wedding date, stitched directly onto the vamp or, discreetly, into the lining. Customers choose the thread color, the typeface, and the placement through Hockerty's online designer, the same configurator the brand uses for its suits, before the order goes into production.
The line spans slippers in velvet with patent toe, classic Oxfords, Derbies, and loafers, in calf leather and suede across a black, midnight, and burgundy palette designed to sit cleanly under a tuxedo or a daytime morning suit.
According to the October 2026 release, prices start at $199, with a production lead time of two to three weeks—a window Hockerty recommends grooms factor in alongside their suit fitting.
The Evening Collection
The Evening Collection offers loafers with an artisanal monogram, designed for the moments that transcend: from the formality of the ceremony to the warmth of the toast.
The Slipper Signature has no laces or buckles, with a scarlet interior and an available monogram. A dress moccasin is defined by its high tongue silhouette and grosgrain finishes. The collection is presented in calfskin, patent leather, and velvet, all united by an interior lining in scarlet tones.
The formal Oxford dress shoe features a high tongue and grosgrain trim, designed from its conception to showcase initials. It is available in calfskin, patent leather, and velvet, with a scarlet interior and optional monogram.
Each pair of the Evening Collection includes a lining in scarlet red, in every model and colour.
