Lacoste has released a twelve piece collection with Mackintosh, turning the Scottish outerwear house’s bonded cotton construction toward court inspired dressing. First shown on the Centre Court at Roland Garros during Lacoste’s Autumn Winter 2026 runway show, the capsule gives its tennis vocabulary a weatherproof layer.

Bonded cotton construction

The collection includes a polo poncho, trench dress, tracksuit shirt, belted pleated skirt, minimalist coat, dropped waist trench and adjustable cuff blouson. Each piece uses Mackintosh water repellent bonded cotton, the material that defines the outerwear maker’s longstanding production. The shapes move between track inspired layers and classic rainwear rather than following a conventional tennis uniform.

Court lines in tape

The garments are cut and assembled in Mackintosh’s Scottish workshops, with the house’s signature waterproof taping worked directly into the design. Running across the fabric like tennis court lines, the technique connects Mackintosh’s outerwear expertise with Lacoste’s sporting heritage. The capsule also includes two versions of the Lenglen bag in the same rubberised material.

Initiated by Pelagia Kolotouros, creative director of Lacoste, the collaboration brings the two brands together through a shared focus on function and construction. Lacoste’s tennis references are filtered through Mackintosh’s approach to weatherproof outerwear, giving the collection a sharper, more technical direction.

Available now online

The collection launched online and in selected stores on September 24. With a tightly edited assortment and limited distribution, the release sits at the intersection of Lacoste’s sportswear heritage and Mackintosh’s longstanding approach to functional outerwear.
