lululemon has unveiled the Ventscape Run Vest, with a global rollout starting in December 2026. Introduced at the China International Import Expo, the vest brings the brand’s product-development focus to the changing demands of cold-weather running.
Its patent-pending construction combines PrimaLoft ThermoPlume+ insulation with mesh panels. According to the company’s November 6 announcement, the design is intended to retain warmth at the start of a run and release heat and humidity as effort increases.
The company says testing covered more than 250 hours and 2,500 kilometres, spanning laboratory and outdoor conditions. Ambassadors Leah Yingling, Nikki Hiltz and Lewis Hamilton contributed feedback on fit and construction and tested prototypes.
The launch puts the layer itself at the centre of the running experience: a piece intended to stay on as conditions and intensity change. That positions Ventscape around a practical winter-running concern, with athlete feedback informing the product’s development.
