Sneex, the luxury hybrid heel brand founded by Sara Blakely, has unveiled The Ballerina, a new minimalist silhouette built on the company’s patented Hy-Heel platform. The release extends Sneex’s core thesis that high heels can be reengineered from the ground up, eliminating the long-standing tradeoff between design and physical comfort.
The launch follows a breakout first year for the brand, which earned industry recognition including Launch of the Year from Footwear News and a top honor from the Global Footwear Awards. With The Ballerina, Sneex is moving beyond initial concept validation and into silhouette expansion, translating its performance-driven construction into a more commercially adaptable form.
Handcrafted in Italy, The Ballerina features a three-inch heel engineered with balanced weight distribution, an integrated midsole designed to reduce pressure at the ball of the foot, and a performance outsole built for traction and stability. The upper introduces a refined triple-strap construction and softened toe shape, aligning with current ballet-inspired footwear trends while maintaining the brand’s technical foundation.

The product architecture reinforces Sneex’s positioning within a developing hybrid category, where athletic footwear principles are embedded into dress silhouettes. Rather than incremental comfort updates, the brand continues to frame its approach as a structural redesign of the high heel itself.
The Ballerina debuts in five Spring 2026 colorways, Ballet Pink, Red, Black, Swan, and Sunkissed, and will be available exclusively through the brand’s direct-to-consumer channel beginning March 26, 2026, priced at $495. The release joins Sneex’s existing core lineup, including The Icon, The Tepper, and The Blake.
