Selkirk shared its documentary Second Serve: A Renewed Purpose Through Pickleball in an October 31 post, following Rafa Lenhard’s return to competitive sport through pickleball.
According to Selkirk, Lenhard was a top-30 junior tennis recruit who left the sport after his sophomore year. He subsequently worked in coaching, insurance and technology sales.
The film follows his path from the first Selkirk Sparta Combine to leaving his corporate job to play full time. Selkirk links to the documentary in its announcement.
