Supreme, Maison Margiela, and Timberland have turned the classic 6 inch waterproof boot into a collage of $100 bills. They are pushing the work boot as a luxury object story into even louder territory for Spring 2026. The triple branded Money 6 Inch Premium Waterproof Boot lands as part of Week 4 of Supreme’s Spring/Summer 2026 collection. Additionally, availability is through Supreme and Maison Margiela channels from March 19, 2026.

Three way collab moment

This is the second time Supreme and MM6 Maison Margiela have worked together, following a first capsule in 2024. Now, this is also their first collaborative footwear project with Timberland. For Timberland, it brings the heritage 6 inch boot into a fashion led, limited run context. Meanwhile, MM6 Maison Margiela uses the shoe as another canvas for its deconstructive, concept heavy approach.

The boot arrives alongside a wider Supreme x MM6 Maison Margiela apparel collection that includes money print shearling outerwear, boxing inspired accessories, and reworked menswear staples. That ecosystem positions the Money boot not as a standalone novelty. Instead, it is one node in a broader narrative about currency, value, and downtown luxury crossover.

Money print, classic shape

The silhouette sticks closely to the standard Timberland 6 inch Premium Waterproof blueprint. However, it swaps the usual wheat nubuck for panels entirely coated in custom $100 bills. Details on the note have been tweaked. This note is not legal tender and a reworked M graphic, keeping the visual language of money without directly reproducing real U.S. currency.

Branding and hardware push the premium message: metallic gold eyelets, a co branded tongue label, a red Supreme heel tag, and a debossed Timberland tree logo share space. They do this without overwhelming the base shape. Underfoot, the boot keeps a lugged rubber outsole and anti fatigue cushioning. Meanwhile, a padded leather collar and shearling liner dial up warmth and comfort in line with Timberland’s performance standards.

Release date and access

The MM6 Maison Margiela x Supreme x Timberland Money 6 inch boot was released on March 19, 2026, via Supreme online and in store as part of Week 4. Additionally, a parallel drop is expected through Maison Margiela channels. Official pricing has not been disclosed by the brands. However, early resale listings point to a premium tier above standard Timberland in line models.

Distribution sticks to the usual Supreme model: brand owned stores and e commerce, with no indication of a wider general release rollout through traditional Timberland wholesale doors. That keeps the collab in a limited, culture facing territory. It does so rather than chasing volume in workwear or family footwear channels.

Currency as commentary

From an industry lens, the Money 6 inch sits in a lineage of collaborations that treat the Timberland boot as both a streetwear staple and a platform for conceptual graphics. Here, the heavy use of banknote iconography leans into Maison Margiela’s history of using everyday and value coded objects as commentary on fashion and consumption, while Supreme extends its long running play with appropriation and logo remixing.

The project shows how legacy silhouettes can be re framed without losing their functional DNA, waterproof build, lug sole, supportive collar, while still operating as loud, conversation starting pieces on foot. In a slower, more selective collaboration market, it is a clear signal that three way projects now have to carry both visual impact and a point of view on culture to cut through.
