Therabody has launched Jason, an AI shopping assistant built with Amazon Web Services, on its direct-to-consumer website. The wellness technology company announced the launch on October 21, 2026.
According to Therabody’s announcement, Jason asks shoppers about their needs, budget and lifestyle before suggesting products. The assistant integrates with the brand’s Shopify storefront, including add-to-bag and checkout functions.
Therabody says the project took fewer than 90 days and was configured around its own products and compliance requirements. The company also says the assistant can explain the research behind product claims and link to supporting sources. Those are descriptions of the shopping service, rather than independent findings about product effectiveness.
For the brand, the launch adds a guided conversation to a product range spanning recovery, sleep and beauty devices. It places product discovery and purchasing within the same digital interaction.
