TruGolf says its E6 software now offers more than 15,000 real-world golf courses on demand, a 50% increase in less than a year. The October 22, 2026 company announcement frames the expansion as a software-platform development spanning 19 supported launch monitors.
The distinction is central to the business story: E6 can reach customers using other manufacturers’ hardware, while TruGolf Links franchise locations use the same platform and course library.
TruGolf says courses are generated at runtime using Cesium for Unreal, with data delivered as needed rather than requiring players to install the entire library. The company also reports that on-demand play has grown and now represents more than 40% of E6 Golf 2026 course rounds, compared with roughly 30% a year earlier.
These usage figures are company-reported, not independently audited metrics presented here. Nor does a larger course count establish simulator accuracy or improved playing performance.
The development illustrates how a sports-equipment business can extend its reach through recurring software and content, rather than relying solely on hardware sales. This article covers the October 22 announcement as a prior-day carryover.
