Under Armour and Feng Chen Wang Bring Their UA Flare Collaboration to China
The October 14 Shanghai presentation was followed by limited footwear availability in the city, with Atlanta to follow in early November.

Under Armour and Feng Chen Wang presented their Rebel Daughter collection in Shanghai on October 14, bringing the partnership’s first complete collection to China. The footwear component reworks the UA Flare in black and white.
In a newsroom post dated October 16, Under Armour specifies October 15 as the start of limited footwear availability at LABELHOOD’s Julu Road store in Shanghai. A U.S. release at JAIDE in Atlanta is planned for early November. Those retail dates are separate from the presentation and announcement dates.
Two meanings of movement
The collection draws on two Chinese expressions pronounced “WU”: martial strength and dance. That pairing informs the runway movement and the clothing, linking physical discipline with personal expression.
The UA Flare applies the collaboration’s visual approach through tonal transitions and a streamlined shape. Apparel combines performance fabrics with details including Ruyi knot closures, standing collars, tassels and asymmetric construction.
A regional rollout
The Shanghai presentation follows the partners’ June announcement at Paris Fashion Week. Apparel is expected in select regions later this year, separate from the limited footwear rollout.
The footwear and apparel schedules remain distinct, making the UA Flare the first product chapter rather than a simultaneous launch of the entire collection.
