Fort Worth is getting a fresh dose of West Coast ease as Vuori prepares to open in the former Apple Store space at University Park Village.

Known for performance apparel rooted in the California coastal lifestyle, the brand blends gym-ready function with laid-back surf energy a mix that fits neatly into the center’s growing activewear lineup.

Design, vibe and what Vuori brings

Vuori’s aesthetic is built on soft, technical fabrics, relaxed silhouettes and a palette borrowed from ocean, sand and sky.

The brand’s men’s and women’s lines lean heavily into joggers, performance shorts, breathable tees, polos and light layers that can move from a workout to coffee to travel without a hard outfit change. In-store, you can expect a calm, minimal environment designed to highlight fabric feel and fit as much as color or graphics.

Taking over a former Apple footprint also gives Vuori room to create an experience, not just a rack of product. The space is likely to be clean, bright and open, with zoning that separates training staples, golf-ready fits and lifestyle pieces, making it easier to build full looks for gym days, office-adjacent dressing and weekends.

Performance, tech and on-body feel

What has fueled Vuori’s rise is how its clothes feel in motion. Signature styles like performance joggers and Kore shorts are built from soft, stretchy, moisture-wicking fabrics that hold up through runs, lifting sessions and classes, but are comfortable enough to wear on long flights or lazy Sunday errands.

The brand’s golf pieces and polos extend that idea into a more polished lane: technical enough for a round, refined enough for brunch or casual work settings.

For Fort Worth shoppers, the big shift is access. Until now, Vuori fans in the area had to head to Southlake, Dallas or Plano, or shop online. With a local storefront, you can finally try on fits, test fabric weight in person and feel the difference between, say, commuter pants and true training silhouettes.

That matters for a line that sells itself as much through texture and drape as through look.

Why University Park Village makes sense

With this opening, Vuori becomes the sixth athletic and activewear option in University Park Village, joining Lululemon, Athleta, Free People Movement, Fabletics and Nike. That puts it in the middle of a strong performance-fashion cluster, but also helps it stand out.

Where Nike leans performance heritage and Lululemon leans structured studio wear, Vuori’s pitch is a little softer: coastal lifestyle with real technical chops.

For Fort Worth’s runners, lifters, golfers and athleisure-first dressers, the new store adds another way to build a rotation that can handle Texas heat, busy days and travel without sacrificing comfort.

For University Park Village, it reinforces the center’s shift into a go-to destination for people who treat activewear as their everyday uniform, not just their workout kit.
