adidas and the German Ski Federation (DSV) marked 50 years of partnership with athlete Outfit Days at the brand’s Herzogenaurach campus. DSV athletes received competition and team equipment, completed individual fittings and took part in media and marketing productions ahead of the winter season. adidas’ post also introduced an anniversary collection.
The event made the preparation behind winter-sport visibility part of the partnership story. Alongside the fittings and kit distribution, DSV presented a 50-year-old ski suit from its collection to the adidas archive, tying current athlete outfitting to the relationship’s history.
Selected adidas employees joined the event, and the campus also hosted DSV Sports Night to celebrate performances from the previous season and recognise the federation’s Athletes of the Year. The format brings athletes, staff and partner organizations into one setting before competition begins.
The anniversary lands as equipment, apparel and athlete storytelling increasingly meet around each winter season. For adidas and DSV, the Outfit Days connect product preparation with the people and rituals that make a long-running sports partnership visible.
