adidas is celebrating Kimi Antonelli’s 2026 Formula 1 world championship by returning to a conversation the driver had with chief executive Bjørn Gulden during a summer visit to its World of Sports headquarters. The brand’s tribute links the title to Antonelli’s ambition, confidence and enjoyment of racing.

Antonelli secured the championship with third place at the Mexico City Grand Prix. At 20, the Mercedes driver became the youngest world champion in Formula 1 history, according to the FIA’s race report.

In the summer exchange recalled by adidas, Antonelli spoke about improving while staying true to himself. Asked about his favourite victory, he replied: “I think the best win has yet to come.” The retrospective gives that answer a new setting following his first world title.

adidas, a partner of Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS Formula One Team, extended its congratulations beyond the driver to the engineers, mechanics and wider team. Its celebration brings the work behind the race result into the same story as the champion himself.
