Pharrell and adidas Set October 24 Release for Red and Storm Jellyfish Sneakers
The two VIRGINIA Adistar Jellyfish colorways arrive as one global release, priced at $300 per pair.
adidas Originals and Pharrell Williams are adding Red and Storm to the VIRGINIA Adistar Jellyfish lineup, with a global release scheduled for October 24. The sneakers cost $300 per pair, and signups opened October 19.
The two colors form one new release for the collaboration. They follow earlier versions, including the Triple White edition previously covered by Footwear Magazine, rather than introducing a new silhouette.
New colors, familiar proportions
The shoe retains its flowing, jellyfish-inspired midsole, engineered mesh upper and sculptural cage. Glow-in-the-dark detailing remains part of the design, according to adidas’s October 19 announcement.
Red and Storm give that construction contrasting treatments. The update focuses on how color changes the appearance of the shoe’s oversized proportions and layered surfaces.
Where the release lands
Both versions will be available through CONFIRMED, the adidas app and select retailers worldwide. The October 24 retail date is separate from the October 19 announcement and signup opening.
For the VIRGINIA partnership, this extends an existing design story through a paired color update. The recognizable architecture provides continuity across successive drops, with color becoming the main point of difference.
