adidas by Stella McCartney has launched the Spring/Summer ’26 Studio Collection, led by the new Sportswear X shoe and built around a ‘barefoot fee’ brief that sits between studio training and everyday wear. British track and field athlete Daryll Neita stars in the launch, which centers on the Sportswear X shoe with studio ready apparel to match.
A Studio First Chapter
adidas frames The Studio Collection as a focused expression of the adidas by Stella McCartney partnership, with Sportswear X set as the headline product. The brand calls out the shoe’s low profile silhouette, gum outsole, and asymmetrical strap as the key visual codes tying performance cues to a lifestyle silhouette.

Sportswear X Design
adidas says the Sportswear X delivers a barefoot feel through minimalist tooling and is engineered for 360 degree airflow. The upper mixes open meshes with a supportive asymmetrical elastic strap meant to secure fit while allowing natural movement.
Apparel and Tech Story
Across the wider Studio Collection, adidas highlights AEROREADY for sweat wicking, CLIMAPROOF+ for lightweight breathable protection in unpredictable weather, and Lycra Adaptiv for supportive flexibility. That mix shows adidas pushing its performance toolkit into pieces that can live outside the gym without turning the capsule into technical outerwear only.
Key Pieces
Key pieces include the Studio Spaghetti Crop Top with an in built bra and AEROREADY, and the Studio Ruched Leggings with a no front seam build, an internal key pocket, and AEROREADY. The range also includes a Heavyweight Parka using CLIMAPROOF+, finished with oversized sleeves, cape style detailing, a bungee waist, and a rear slit, in burnt sienna and black.
