Dsquared2 launched the DC 642, a new original sneaker silhouette, on April 22, 2026, in Milan, timed to Salone del Mobile and positioned as a catalog staple across multiple colorways and materials. Pricing starts at €350, and the shoe is now available on Dsquared2.com and at selected stores worldwide.
The Launch Event
Founders Dean and Dan Caten opened the doors of Dsquared2’s Milan flagship on Via Pietro Verri 4 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. for an evening of cocktails and a DJ set. Guests wore the DC 642 on the night, giving the shoe its first public outing before wider retail availability.

Colorways and Materials
The multi colorway drop includes a suede version, a calf leather version, a denim variation with chambray lateral overlays, and a pink and yellow colorway referencing Pantone 15 1816 Peony. The range and depth of colorways suggest the DC 642 is a long term catalog entry rather than a limited or seasonal drop.
Packaging and Positioning
The shoe ships in a branded blue box printed with a jet silhouette marked “DC 642,” a direct callback to the in flight concept used throughout the launch campaign. The DC 642 signals Dsquared2’s intent to build a more defined sneaker identity in the luxury trainer market, a segment where the brand has historically been less prominent than in its denim and tailoring categories.
