This partnership initially launched in July 2024, sees Esquire leveraging its rich literary history and the personalities of its notable contributors to bring these scents to life.
The range, available in 100ml bottles, takes inspiration from influential figures in Esquire’s storied past, including F. Scott Fitzgerald, e.e. cummings, and journalism legends like Tom Wolfe. This homage is evident in the naming of the four initial scents: American Novelist, Modern Poet, New Journalist, and Editor in Chief.
American Novelist is a warm, ambery fragrance characterized by notes of bergamot, leather, and cedar, evoking a sense of sophistication and depth. Modern Poet, on the other hand, presents an herbal and green profile with notes of matcha, gin, and patchouli, capturing a dreamy and introspective essence. New Journalist offers a more approachable character with its blue, aquatic notes of apple leaf, blue lavender, and sandalwood, making it a versatile scent suitable for various occasions.
