Golden Goose and FiveFourFive brought their latest collaboration to Harvard Square with a two-day pop-up at The COOP in Cambridge, Massachusetts, ahead of a second activation in Milan.

Held September 19–20, the pop-up presented the collection in a collegiate-inspired setting featuring burgundy fixtures, books and varsity graphics. Sneakers were displayed alongside ready-to-wear and accessories, while a collaboration flag outside The COOP extended the project’s branding onto the street.

Now in its third year, the partnership brings together Golden Goose’s footwear and FiveFourFive’s take on American collegiate style. The latest collection includes limited-edition sneakers and ready-to-wear that combine varsity references with elements of Italian tailoring.

At The COOP, a star-marked sneaker was positioned alongside collegiate clothing and accessories, keeping Golden Goose’s footwear at the center of the installation while introducing the broader apparel offering. The Harvard Square setting also connected the collection’s varsity influences with a retail location closely associated with university culture.

The activation continues a collaboration that has developed beyond individual product releases into dedicated retail experiences. For the latest installment, the partners are taking the collection from Cambridge to Milan, giving the project both a U.S. collegiate setting and a second presentation in Golden Goose’s home market.

Following the Harvard Square launch, Golden Goose and FiveFourFive will bring the collaboration to the brand’s Via Cusani flagship in Milan on September 26, where the latest collection will receive its second in-store activation.
