Haider Ackermann unveiled his Spring/Summer 2026 capsule for Snow Goose by Canada Goose on April 10, launching online first before arriving in select Canada Goose stores on April 14. The collection marks Ackermann’s third seasonal chapter since being named Canada Goose’s first Creative Director in May 2024. It is also his most colour driven release to date.
Lightness as a Concept
Ackermann framed the SS26 collection as a direct response to what he described as the heaviness of the contemporary world. The pieces are built around pure lightness, in material, construction, and feeling, with movement described as instinctive and natural while energized.
Haider Ackermann, Creative Director of Canada Goose, said, “This season carries a lightness, not only in material but in feeling. Movement is instinctive and natural while energised. Colour holds a gentle tension, shifting, reflecting, coming alive with motion. It is something both functional and expressive. A presence that isn’t concealed but confidently embraced.”
Colour and Construction
The palette draws directly from natural textures: Bright Pink, Azurite Blue, Dark Umber, and Bright Coral sit alongside deep neutrals across the range. Colour blocked windbreakers, reflective quilted jackets, second-skin leggings, and lightweight shorts form the core of the offering. Each is engineered for transitional climates without restricting performance. In addition, reflective detailing and precise contrast finishing introduce what Ackermann describes as a “geometric electricity” running through the collection.
Online First, Then In Store
The collection launched exclusively on canadagoose.com on April 10, ahead of the wider in-store rollout at select Canada Goose locations on April 14. The tiered release, digital first, then physical, has been consistent across Ackermann’s Snow Goose drops, building digital demand before opening to broader retail access.
