HOKA has joined the Mother in Sport Collective, a new alliance organized by For All Mothers+ to advance standardized maternity protections for athletes.
The collective launched on September 17 with founding members that include HOKA, Brooks, lululemon, Altra, rabbit, Oiselle and other sport-focused companies. For All Mothers+ describes it as an industry alliance intended to make public commitments around protections for elite and recreational athletes.
HOKA said its participation will include amplifying stories about motherhood in sport, sharing knowledge across the collective and supporting solutions that put maternal equity into the sport ecosystem.
For a running brand, the development is relevant beyond corporate positioning. Athletes' access to sponsorship, facilities, competition and career continuity shapes the sport communities that footwear brands serve. Source: For All Mothers+.
