ASICS Tennis has made Jack Draper’s long rumoured switch officially official, confirming the British No. 1 as the latest name on its global tennis roster via a short social announcement and a new footwear deal built around the Solution Speed FF 4.
Draper joins ASICS roster
ASICS has signed Draper, currently ranked world No. 14, to a performance partnership that will see him wear the brand’s SOLUTION SPEED FF 4 series throughout the 2026 season. The move formalises a relationship that began when Draper started competing in ASICS shoes in 2025 and positions him alongside other top pros in the brand’s tennis line up.
Jack Draper, ASICS Athlete and Professional Tennis Player, said, “I’m really excited to have joined the ASICS team, and I’m looking forward to competing in the SOLUTION SPEED™ FF 4 shoes. As soon as I tried these tennis shoes, I knew they were the right choice for me and I’m excited to be a part of the ASICS family.”
Speed-first footwear fit
The SOLUTION SPEED FF 4 is ASICS’ fastest tennis model, designed for players who live off first step speed, quick changes of direction and aggressive baseline coverage. It pairs a lightweight FLYTEFOAM midsole with updated SPEEDTRUSS for acceleration and a PRECISION-SOLE outsole with ASICSGRIP rubber for traction, aligning closely with Draper’s explosive, hard court leaning game.
Brand and athlete reactions
In the formal announcement, Mitsuyuki Tominaga, President and COO, ASICS, said, “We are delighted to welcome Jack Draper into the ASICS family. We are honored that Jack has chosen ASICS as his trusted footwear partner, and we look forward to helping support his journey with our industry-leading tennis shoes.”
This signing is another sign that ASICS is doubling down on speed oriented silhouettes and top 20 talent rather than chasing only Grand Slam champions at the very top of the rankings.
