Jil Sander and PUMA resumed their collaboration on October 14, 2025, with a navy leather sneaker combining references from PUMA’s King and Avanti football shoes. The first drop reached selected Jil Sander stores and jilsander.com globally.
The design behind the first drop
The shoe pairs a padded leather upper with a white Formstrip, gold Jil Sander lettering and co-branding on the fold-over tongue. The restrained color palette carries the football-inspired shape into a luxury sneaker rather than a performance boot.
The return arrived under Jil Sander creative director Simone Bellotti. It followed a partnership that began in 1998, when the brands adapted football footwear through a luxury leather treatment.
Where this sits in the release calendar
First-drop release: October 14, 2025. This is the earlier launch in the renewed partnership, distinct from its subsequent 2026 collections. Keeping the year attached separates the original sneaker return from later apparel and footwear releases.
