Monika Chiang, an American fashion designer and businesswoman, has made a significant impact in the world of luxury footwear. Before venturing into fashion, Chiang co-founded the lounge Double Seven in New York City's meatpacking district in the summer of 2005. Her innovative cocktails garnered attention from media outlets like PBS, the New York Times, and the Toronto Star. However, her true passion lay in fashion design, leading her to launch her eponymous brand, Monika Chiang in 2011.

The Monika Chiang collection includes a range of products from apparel and handbags to lingerie and jewelry. However, it is her luxury designer shoes that have truly set her apart. From sandals and high heels to boots, each piece exudes confidence and beauty, making every wearer feel special. Chiang's first boutique opened its doors in Los Angeles on Robertson Boulevard in West Hollywood in October 2011. The grand opening was graced by film actresses and other celebrities, marking the beginning of her journey in the retail world. She later expanded her reach by launching a pop-up shop in the SoHo neighborhood of New York City in November 2011.

Her first full collection was presented as part of the Fall 2012 Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week at Lincoln Center in New York City. Vogue Magazine featured her designs in the same month, further solidifying her status in the fashion industry. A flagship store in New York's SoHo district followed in April 2012. Chiang's designs are known for their chic, rock-and-roll twist that fuses both masculine and feminine styles.

Her style has been lauded by New York Magazine, and she was named one of the world's 17 most promising accessories designers by Harper's Bazaar in 2013.
