Nike’s All Conditions Gear division debuted the Zegama Hike on April 14, 2026, the brand’s first dedicated hiking boot and the first hiking entry in ACG’s performance footwear lineup following its reintroduction in February 2026. The Zegama Hike is scheduled to launch in July 2026 at allconditionsgear.com and select retail locations, with pricing not confirmed at the time of publication.

From Trail to Hike

The Zegama Hike is built directly on the DNA of the ACG Zegama Trail running shoe, combining its lightweight, responsive platform with the durability and support required for longer, more demanding days on the trail.

Brenden McAleese, Footwear Director for Nike ACG, said, “Zegama Hike is groundbreaking for all the right reasons, infusing the finest of Nike innovation into hiking and providing a comprehensive system that prioritizes the athlete’s requirements. ACG is excelling at what the brand does best: envisioning performance equipment infused with ACG exclusive magic.”

The result is a boot engineered to close the gap between trail running and hiking footwear for outdoor athletes who move across both disciplines.

Fit and Construction

The Zegama Hike is built on a trail specific last with increased room in the forefoot and toe box, a design choice intended for hikers whose feet swell over long days. A mid cut silhouette features a best in class fit system that stabilizes the heel and ankle on steep climbs and descents, with rubberized overlays, reinforced toe and heel guards, and an ankle gaiter to keep trail debris out.

Foam and Traction

A stacked foam construction sits at the core of the Zegama Hike’s performance story, with a plush, responsive layer of trail tuned ZoomX foam placed directly underfoot and cradled by a more protective, rigid foam layer designed to enhance durability and stability on uneven terrain. Underfoot, the Zegama Hike is equipped with a Vibram Megagrip outsole, engineered for trusted traction on both wet and dry surfaces, with a wider base and extended rubber coverage that adds downhill stability and control on steep, rocky trails with a full pack.

The Zegama Hike lands as ACG reasserts itself as a serious performance outdoor brand, using the credibility of the Zegama trail running platform to make a direct entry into the hiking boot market with a product built for athletes first.
