Nike has signed a multiyear agreement to become the official kit partner of Mumbai Indians’ women’s and men’s teams in India, beginning with the 2027 season. The partnership covers match play, training and sportswear, including coaches and technical staff.
In its October 21 announcement, Nike says athletes and staff will start wearing team gear this month. New kits for the women’s and men’s teams are to be revealed ahead of their respective 2027 seasons.
The agreement also includes apparel for supporters, with team kits and additional styles drawing on Mumbai’s identity and culture. Nike says more product details will follow in the coming weeks; the announcement does not provide retail prices or a firm fan-apparel release date.
For Nike, the deal expands its presence in cricket through both elite competition and supporter merchandise. For Mumbai Indians, it brings the two Indian teams and their wider apparel offering into one kit partnership.
