Nike has signed Tim Wenisch to its Elite Training Division, adding a three-time HYROX world champion to the brand’s hybrid-racing roster. The company announced the move on October 25, 2026, pairing the athlete signing with plans for a race debut in its Hybrid Fly shoe.

Wenisch has competed in HYROX since 2018. His titles include the 2025 Singles World Championship and consecutive Doubles Elite World Championships in 2025 and 2026, according to Nike.

The announcement said Wenisch was due to make his Nike debut in Hamburg, Germany, that weekend and race in the Hybrid Fly for the first time. Nike describes the model as its first shoe developed specifically for hybrid racing.

Wenisch joins an Elite Training Division roster that includes Lauren Weeks, Dylan Scott and Seka Arning. Nike positions the division around hybrid racing and competitive fitness, combining athlete partnerships with footwear, apparel and training.

For Nike, the signing gives the Hybrid Fly another elite athlete platform and ties its footwear push more closely to competition. Wenisch said the shoe helped influence his decision to join, while also pointing to opportunities to work on future innovation.

Nike did not disclose the financial terms or duration of the agreement.
