On’s announced rollout separates an October 1, 2026 specialist-retailer pre-launch from a wider global launch planned for early 2027.
On’s Cloudsurfer 3 has two distinct release phases. In its September 15, 2026 announcement, On set an October 1, 2026 pre-launch exclusively through specialist running retailers, followed by a full global launch across all channels in early 2027.
The later rollout includes On.com and On stores. On has not supplied an exact day for that phase, so the October date should not be read as the global direct-retail release date.
What changes in the Cloudsurfer 3
The everyday running shoe introduces On’s Surreal superfoam alongside a redesigned CloudTec Phase cushioning structure. On positions it for daily training, recovery runs and longer sessions.
The upper uses engineered mesh. On lists an 8 mm drop and a weight of 285 grams for a men’s US 8.5 sample, with announced prices of $160 in the US, €170, £150 and CHF 210.
A retailer-first rollout
