PUMA has appointed Arne Arens as Chief Commercial Officer and a member of its Management Board, effective November 15, 2026. The company announced the appointment on October 22, assigning him responsibility for its global commercial organisation and marketplace strategy.
Arens will oversee sales across PUMA’s channels and markets worldwide. He brings more than 25 years of international leadership experience in sporting goods and outdoor businesses, including senior commercial, brand and general management positions at Nike, The North Face and Boardriders. Most recently, he served as CEO of apparel technology company Unspun.
In PUMA’s written announcement, CEO Arthur Hoeld said Arens combines “commercial expertise, consumer insights and brand leadership.” Hoeld highlighted his experience working with wholesale partners and translating consumer expectations into commercial execution.
The appointment brings those responsibilities together at Management Board level as PUMA develops its global marketplace approach. The role connects brand demand with the sales organisation and retail relationships needed to reach consumers across markets.
From November 15, PUMA’s Management Board will comprise Hoeld as CEO, Mark Langer as CFO, Maria Valdes as Chief Brand Officer, Andreas Hubert as Chief Operating Officer and Arens as CCO.
