PUMA and Pokémon have launched a collaborative collection marking the franchise’s 30th anniversary. The concept draws on the Sun and Moon era of the game to anchor the design direction across footwear and apparel. The collection spans multiple silhouettes. Furthermore, it represents one of the larger licensed sportswear tie ups of the anniversary year.
A milestone partnership
Pokémon’s 30th anniversary has been one of the most commercially active milestone moments in the franchise’s history. Brand partnerships across apparel, footwear, and lifestyle have accelerated through 2025 and into 2026. PUMA’s entry into that space puts the German sportswear brand alongside a roster of collaborators. These brands are now competing for the same culturally engaged consumer.
Sun and Moon as the design lens
The collection pulls its visual identity from the Sun and Moon generation of Pokémon, one of the franchise’s most distinct aesthetic eras. The designs are built around character graphics and game era color references. In addition, PUMA’s core silhouettes blend licensed imagery with performance and lifestyle footwear construction.
The product range
The collaboration covers both footwear and apparel, with multiple PUMA silhouettes carrying Pokémon themed detailing across the upper, lining, and branding elements. Specific styles and pricing are available via PUMA’s official channels and select retailers.
