Jimmy Choo launched the Sunny Trainer as a new signature low top sneaker silhouette for Spring 2026, presented first at Milan Fashion Week as part of the house’s 30th anniversary collection and now available at jimmychoo.com.
The Concept
The Sunny Trainer was introduced as Jimmy Choo’s answer to the question of what a luxury trainer looks like when it is built around the house’s core language of femininity rather than a sportswear reference. The house described the shoe as a style that celebrates “positivity and joy, bringing lightness and comfort to every step,” with diaphanous lace as the key material choice, reinforcing the silhouette’s sense of weightlessness. Athletic yet elegant, functional yet refined, the Sunny is positioned at the intersection of the trainer category and the house’s traditional evening footwear DNA.
Construction and Materials
The Sunny is crafted in Italy from custom Jimmy Choo floral lace paneled with soft suede and leather, set on a compound footbed and extra light rubber sole engineered for comfort and everyday wearability. Each tongue features an exterior Jimmy Choo label, with a slim, low top profile and a streamlined silhouette that sits closer to a ballerina flat than a traditional athletic trainer.
Colorways and Access
The Sunny is available across multiple colorways for SS26, including Rose, Latte, Black, and Off White, each combining the signature lace upper with suede and leather reinforcements in tonal or contrasting finishes.
The Sunny Trainer arrives as the luxury trainer category continues to accelerate, with houses across the sector introducing lace, crystal, and embellishment led interpretations of athletic silhouettes to meet consumers who want performance adjacent footwear without leaving the luxury bracket.
