adidas has teamed up with Paris-based running label SATISFY for a new multi-season partnership, starting with a limited-edition release of the ADIZERO ADIOS PRO 4.

This is more than a standard collaboration. It blends elite race-day performance with a cultural edge, aiming to redefine how running looks, feels and connects with people.

A shared creative vision

This partnership works because both brands bring something distinct. adidas focuses on performance and innovation, while SATISFY approaches running through style, identity and subculture. Together, they are building a new way of thinking about running gear.

Stephan Scholten, VP of Product at adidas, highlights the goal of combining performance, creativity and community. At the same time, Daniel Groh, Chief Brand Officer of SATISFY, makes it clear this is not just about branding. It is about pushing boundaries while staying true to each brand’s identity.

That balance sets the foundation for future releases, with more expected through 2026 and beyond.

A different kind of launch

To introduce the collaboration, adidas and SATISFY created The Circle Pit, an immersive running event in Arizona’s Sonoran Desert. Instead of a traditional race, runners moved through a closed-loop pump track where music, movement and environment came together.

The idea was simple but effective. Shift the focus away from competition and toward experience. The desert setting added to the atmosphere, giving the event a raw and almost cinematic feel.

It reflects a wider change in running culture. People are looking for connection and expression, not just finish times.

Design that stands out

The ADIZERO ADIOS PRO 4 SATISFY keeps its high-performance base but introduces a bold new look. The most noticeable feature is the asymmetric color fade, inspired by DIY spray painting and mismatched skate shoes. It gives the sneaker a unique, slightly unpredictable appearance.

Other details build on that idea. Contrast stitching, reflective Three Stripes and a mix of earthy tones like green, brown and black create depth without feeling overdesigned. Matte silver Energy Rods add a mechanical edge, inspired by off-road vehicles.

The overall effect is dynamic. The shoe looks different depending on the angle, making it feel more personal and expressive.

Performance still leads

Despite the design focus, performance remains the priority. The shoe uses full-length Lightstrike Pro foam for strong energy return, making it suitable for race-day conditions.

The Lightlock upper keeps the foot secure, while the outsole combines Continental rubber with Lighttraxion technology for reliable grip. Carbon Energy Rods 2.0 help create a smooth transition through each stride.

In short, it performs at the level runners expect from the Adios Pro line.

Release details

The shoe launches on May 22, 2026 through satisfyrunning.com, followed by a wider release on May 25, 2026 via adidas platforms, including CONFIRMED and adidas.com, depending on region.

For runners, this offers a proven performance model with a fresh identity. For the wider community, it shows how running continues to evolve into something more expressive, where performance and personal style can exist side by side.
