adidas is treating tennis apparel as a full style ecosystem, not just performance gear.
With three new collections for the 2026 US season, the brand shows how heritage, Y2K culture, and classic whites can all live on court at the same time.
Design and color/details
The New York Collection is the boldest chapter. It is a 22-piece range for men and women, rooted in the energy of 1990s New York.
The palette mixes white, distilled pink, and maroon, keeping it tournament-ready but expressive. Satin and lace appear alongside cut-outs, oversized tees, and bubble skirts, pushing the look beyond standard tennis uniforms.
Hero pieces include the CLIMACOOL Lace Crop T-Shirt and Dress Pro. Both use rose lace details inspired by Florence Griffith Joyner’s lace bodysuit, connecting track and tennis in one gesture.
Select tops, such as the CLIMACOOL+ 3D Tank Pro and CLIMACOOL+ 3D Tennis Freelift T-Shirt Pro, add CLIMACOOL+ capsules that lift fabric off the skin. This design helps airflow and reduces heat build-up during play.
Release date, price, access
The New York Collection launches around the US hard-court swing and is available to consumers from August 1. It will sit on adidas.com and with select retailers, positioned as the on-court, performance-led story.
Adidas athletes Alexander Zverev, Felix Auger-Aliassime, Jessica Pegula, Iva Jovic, and Elina Svitolina will wear the collection at America’s top hard-court event, giving the lace and silhouettes clear visibility under lights.
Beyond the Baseline and The Classics arrive through adidas.com and the adidas app. This makes the full three-part story available to everyday players and fans, not just those following the tour. Each line has a distinct mood, but all share access through the same digital channels.
Performance/tech and on-court focus
Beyond the Baseline acts as the bridge between park tennis and performance play. It blends relaxed Y2K tennis park style with functional details. Women’s baby tees and strappy dresses nod to early-2000s looks.
Men’s button tees with chest pockets and mesh shorts rework retro tennis and basketball influences. The cuts and draped shapes are meant to feel right during a match and in the hours after. CLIMACOOL runs across the range to wick sweat and keep movement cool and dry.
The Classics Collection returns to archive codes with a modern cut. Traditional white stays central, supported by maroon and distilled pink accents.
Bold Three Stripes placements echo familiar adidas tennis kits. Pieces such as the Classics Polo, T-Shirt, and Dress use piqué fabrics, heritage collars, plackets, and sleeve hems, plus the Trefoil logo.
This creates a clear link to past eras while keeping silhouettes clean enough to move from court to everyday settings. CLIMACOOL supports performance quietly in the background.
Together, the three collections show how adidas reads tennis in 2026: as a sport shaped by city energy, park culture, and archive-driven nostalgia, all held together by cooling tech.
For players, fans, and collectors, adidas Brings Three Eras of Tennis Style Into the Modern Game underlines that on-court style now carries history, community, and personality, not just function.
