Trail runners get more speed comfort and choice with the refreshed adidas Terrex Agravic range.
A New Era For Fast Trails
adidas TERREX has unveiled four new models in its speed-focused Agravic range, each tuned to different styles of trail running while sharing one goal: helping runners go faster off-road.
Headlining the collection is the Agravic Speed Ultra 2, joined by the all-new Agravic TT, the updated Agravic Speed 2 and the evolved Agravic 4 for everyday trail sessions.
The Agravic Speed Ultra 2 lands first on December 2, 2025, with the full range rolling out globally from February 1, 2026.
Agravic Speed Ultra 2 Race Dominator Evolved
Fronting the range is the Agravic Speed Ultra 2, the evolution of the Agravic Speed Ultra, adidas’ most innovative trail running shoe renowned for helping athletes earn podium finishes and records across the globe.
First debuted in Chamonix this summer, the shoe is purpose-built for ultra-distance trail racing and has been tested and refined alongside some of the world’s fastest trail running athletes.
The Agravic Speed Ultra 2 features enhanced foam for maximum cushioning, with an updated softer Lightstrike Pro midsole paired with the proven exaggerated rocker shape and energy rods for a smoother ride and increased energy return over long distances.
An upgraded Continental outsole now boasts longer 3 mm and 4 mm lugs for superior grip across more diverse terrain, while a reengineered upper delivers a snug, supportive fit with better heel comfort and stability.
Built For Every Kind Of Speed
Speaking about the new Agravic range, Tom Louage, Global Sr. Product Director Footwear adidas TERREX stated: “We know that trail running means different things to different people. For some, it may mean running fast across ultra-distances whilst for others, it could mean speed on those everyday trail runs. With our new-look Agravic range, we wanted to take our existing models including the race-dominating Agravic Speed Ultra and push the boundaries further to create products that match the needs of trail runners looking to go faster.”
Agravic TT Technical Trail Specialist
The Agravic TT is an all-new model in the Agravic range, made for technical trail racing where footing and control are everything.
Whether navigating rocky trails, steep descents or unpredictable surfaces, the Agravic TT provides the stability and confidence needed for fast, controlled runs in any condition.
Its broader base creates a more stable ride, while a dual-layer midsole combining Lightstrike Pro and Lightstrike+ delivers cushioning, durability and stability, supported by a new durable upper, a rock plate for under-foot protection and a multi-directional lug profile for traction on technical terrain.
Agravic Speed 2 Short Distance Weapon
The Agravic Speed 2 is built for shorter-distance competition where seconds and grams count.
As adidas’ lightest trail racing shoe yet, it is stripped back to the essentials to feel lighter, more secure and more agile than its predecessor.
A reengineered upper boosts stability while reducing weight, and a lower-profile Lightstrike Pro midsole secured with a Lightstrike rim provides a close-to-the-ground, agile ride ideal for fast, short-distance trail runs with balanced cushioning and stability.
Agravic 4 Everyday Fast Trail Trainer
The Agravic 4 is designed to bring the thrill of fast running to everyone, serving as a training shoe for the world’s top trail runners and everyday athletes alike.
It balances performance, comfort and protection with a softer Lightstrike+ foam for more cushioning during long trail sessions and a protective mesh layer that shields feet from debris without sacrificing comfort.
A reengineered, softer upper improves fit and step-in comfort while maintaining stability and protection in key zones for trail durability.
Availability
The Agravic Speed Ultra 2 will be available from December 2, 2025 via adidas.com/trail_running-shoes, the adidas app and selected retailers. The Agravic TT, Agravic Speed 2 and Agravic 4 will follow from February 1, 2026 as the full Agravic speed range hits trails worldwide.
