Duke + Dexter is pushing its sneaker story forward with the Plus Duke Sneaker, a statement low-top that translates the brand’s loafer heritage into a bolder, street-ready silhouette for everyday wear.
Plus Duke Sneaker: next-gen D+D design
The Plus Duke Sneaker marks Duke + Dexter’s first major sneaker family since its 2022 rebrand, developed over roughly two years to capture a classic shape with the label’s signature twist. Designed in London and handmade across Europe from premium leathers—including cracked, patent and snake-effect finishes—the style features mohair-style laces, custom debossed eyelets and detachable, screen-printed tongues that can be removed for a cleaner look.
According to Head of Creative Connor Boon, “One thing we love at the brand is taking a classic silhouette and making it feel contemporary – making penny loafers for the people that don’t want to feel heritage,” adapting the vamp logo from Duke + Dexter’s penny loafers onto the sneaker’s lace guard and adding a new “Plus Star” icon, zigzag whipstitching and contrast soles to make the shoe instantly recognizable.
Collection details and pricing
On the brand’s site, the Plus Duke line sits as “the next generation of D+D,” offered in men’s and women’s sizing with colorways like Vintage Grey + White, Black, Snake, Kiss, and Black Studded, many priced around £220 (approximately $280) at full retail. Product copy highlights hand-finished construction and removable tongues across the range, showing a focus on both craftsmanship and customization.
Where to shop the Plus Duke Sneaker
The full Plus Duke collection is available online via dukeanddexter.com, where shoppers can browse men’s and women’s sizes, colorways, and coordinating apparel and accessories. Select styles are also stocked through multi-brand retailers and marketplaces, giving international customers additional access points beyond the brand’s own site and London studio.
With iconic D+D prints sat atop a classic silhouette, as one campaign line puts it, the Plus Duke Sneaker signals a new era for Duke + Dexter, one where sneakers are as central to the brand’s story as its loafers.
