Fleur du Mal, Jennifer Zuccarini’s New York-based lingerie and ready to wear label, is entering activewear for the first time. This comes with the launch of its Fleur du Sport collection. The new collection combines genuine performance fabrics with the brand’s signature lingerie aesthetics. In addition, it uses their bra fitting expertise.

Two Years in the Making

The collection was two years in development. This was driven by persistent requests from clients for fashionable activewear that did not compromise on either fabric quality or design. Jennifer Zuccarini, founder and CEO of Fleur du Mal, said, “It wasn’t until about two years ago that I began conceptualizing this category and developing a collection utilizing genuine performance fabrics, combined with our signature Fleur du Mal lingerie aesthetics and bra fitting expertise.”

16 Pieces Built for the Endorphin Enthusiast

Fleur du Sport launches with 16 pieces described as designed for the ‘endorphin enthusiast who will not settle for style.’ The range includes sports bras cut in traditional bra sizing rather than generic XS XL bands. It also features soft sculpting leggings and a Shaping Catsuit with a built in bra and contouring seams. Additionally, there are track shorts with lace trimmed built in undershorts. Furthermore, there are corset detailed nylon jackets, track pants, and pima cotton tees.

Core Fabrics and Lingerie Details

The hero fabric is a four way stretch jersey made with true Lycra. It delivers compression alongside a soft, skin close hand feel. Zuccarini also introduces Fleur du Mal’s Le Stretch lace in a four way version designed to move with the body. Additionally, she adds nylon for outerwear pieces. Lace inserts, corset lacing, and lingerie accents run through the collection. Consequently, the Sport range stays clearly within the brand’s design language. It avoids positioning as a generic athleisure line.

Pricing and Availability

The collection is priced from $88 for the Le Stretch Sports Bra in black and storm blue, up to $395 for the Warm Up Jacket, and is available exclusively on fleurdumal.com. The DTC only launch keeps the debut tight and controlled, consistent with how Zuccarini has managed prior category expansions, including swim and organic cotton essentials.
