NikeSKIMS Adds Sherpa Layers and New Rift Satin Colors for October
NikeSKIMS’ October 22 collection pairs new outerwear materials with University Red and Shadow Brown Rift Satin footwear.
NikeSKIMS is expanding its seasonal wardrobe with Sherpa and Crunchy Nylon outerwear, alongside new colors for the Rift Satin. Announced October 19, the collection launches globally online on October 22, with select Nike, SKIMS and partner stores to follow.
The footwear update introduces Shadow Brown and University Red while retaining Silt Red. University Red also appears across apparel and accessories, linking the shoes to the wider collection rather than treating them as a standalone drop.
Two approaches to layering
Sherpa pieces include a vest, half-zip jacket and hooded jacket using Nike Therma-FIT material. Crunchy Nylon brings water-repellent fabric to pieces including a cropped jacket and hooded parka, according to Nike’s release.
Returning material collections include Weightless Layers, Performance Cotton Blend, Stretch Knit and Matte. The mix places additional outer layers around the brand’s existing foundations, tops and bottoms.
A coordinated footwear and apparel offer
The campaign features the University of Alabama cheer team, connecting the seasonal collection to team movement.
The launch broadens the label’s wardrobe across cooler-weather dressing. Rift Satin’s new colors give footwear a role in that expansion, carrying the seasonal palette through the full outfit.
