René Caovilla spotlights the Flora style through its SS26 Private Glam Campaign, framed by the house as “a play of moods, colors, and possibilities.” The Venetian jewel shoe house, founded in 1934, used the campaign to showcase the Flora across its spring colorway range, positioning it as the season’s centerpiece within the new arrivals collection.
The House
René Caovilla has built its identity around a precise vocabulary of embellishment, crystal work, and Venetian craft since the brand’s founding in 1934 by Edoardo Caovilla, and later developed into a wider jewel shoe house by his son René. The current collection balances neutral tones and classic silhouettes with vibrant colors and contemporary designs, applying the house’s crystal and lace craftsmanship across sandals, décolleté, and flat styles.
Private Glam
Private Glam is the title and concept of René Caovilla’s SS26 campaign, built around an intimate dimension of identity, color, and contrast. The house described the campaign as exploring “an intimate dimension rich with possibilities” and a “refined study in identity, color, and contrast,” with crystals, floral details, and rich colors defining the collection’s visual language. The campaign captures a quiet, cinematic atmosphere where dream and reality intertwine, positioning the shoes as objects at the center of a personal ritual rather than a formal occasion.
The Flora Style
The Flora is a heeled sandal and slingback built around delicate floral detailing, featuring hand applied crystal embellishments and fine construction consistent with René Caovilla’s signature atelier approach. The new arrivals section lists two Flora silhouettes for the current season: the Flora Gold Sandal 80 and the Flora Gold Slingback 80, both at an 80mm heel height.
