Street culture and football heritage come together in a refined head to toe capsule.
A New Chapter for adidas and Arte Antwerp
adidas and Belgian elevated streetwear label Arte Antwerp have unveiled their first full head-to-toe collection.
This collection expands on their growing partnership with a capsule that reimagines classic sportswear through a street culture lens.
Building on the recent all white Lightblaze POD shoe fronted by Mousa Dembélé, this new drop carries the same textural depth and premium craftsmanship into apparel, footwear and accessories.
Honoring North African Influence on European Football Style
At the heart of the adidas x Arte capsule is a celebration of how North African culture has shaped European football style.
The range uses the flag colors of North African nations red, green, white and black expressed through artisanal embroidery and intricate lace trims.
From palette to pattern, every piece nods to Morocco and the wider region. Here, football unites the continent and its diaspora, cutting across background, heritage and identity.
Storytelling Through Community and Campaign Imagery
The campaign and collection are centered on the significance of football in Morocco.
Shot by Moroccan born, Paris based photographer Ilyes Griyeb, the visuals capture everyday life around a football pitch in Marrakech.
They spotlight the people and places that form the fabric of local football culture.
Additional imagery featuring footballer Brahim Díaz a player whose Moroccan Spanish roots echo the collection’s themes connects the story back to the broader African diaspora in Europe.
Griyeb’s raw, honest reportage style gives the campaign a documentary feel. It grounds the capsule in real community stories rather than abstract concepts.
Design DNA (Where Arte Meets adidas Sportswear)
Arte’s DNA deeply tied to founder Bertony Da Silva, Arte Founder & Creative Director, his Angolan roots and European upbringing blends with adidas’ global football influence. This creates pieces that feel both minimalist and expressive.
Speaking about the project, Bertony Da Silva, Arte Founder & Creative Director, stated:
“This first capsule with adidas is inspired by the raw energy of African football culture, a world defined by community, expression and resilience. The pieces reflect the cultural energy that surrounds the game and the people who give it meaning. Our new campaign is built with and by local voices in Morocco. From the photographer to casting director, models to set team, every still and scene is rooted in collaboration.”
Hero pieces include:
- ADIDAS Z.N.E. tracksuits with elevated trims and clean lines
- Knitted long sleeve jerseys and graphic T shirts featuring an Arabic text overlay on the back translating to “Sport Unites Africa”
- Coordinating jerseys and shorts in red, green, white and black
Artisanal embroidery and lace trims add a tailored touch to familiar sportswear silhouettes, giving the collection a refined yet wearable aesthetic.
Footwear and Accessories to Complete the Look
The capsule also includes accessories in matching color stories sling bags, socks and caps designed to round out full looks.
On the footwear side, the black Lightblaze POD ZIP and an embroidered Adilette slide will release in December. These will be followed by the new Trivela sneaker silhouette in February 2026.
